Publication design has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I love looking at all kinds of different books and magazines, and dreamed of creating my own. I found myself putting together handwritten stories and adding illustrations with any kind of materials I could find. There’s something about sharing stories and ideas this way that is magical to me.

As I learned about commercial art and graphic design in high school from my teacher, Paul Ender, I fell in love with grids, typography and paper. Everywhere I go, I look for new and different publications. This has evolved into the appreciation for digital publications and how they are accessed on different devices. I think discovering new ways to design a page is fascinating.

Offering materials to audiences in multiple forms is critical and powerful to get messages out. I have designed and directed projects from one pagers up to hundreds of pages, delivered as interactive PDFs, DVDs, social media ads and email blasts. From start to finish, getting deliverables to look and work right is why my clients have worked with me for many years.

Identity systems are critical components of any organization's or business's public image. They help make it possible to stand out and be remembered by the audience they seek to reach. These are a few samples of the designs I've created for clients. I love working with owners and stakeholders to handcraft solutions that stand the test of time to communicate the voice and image of a business or group.

Advertising design is an area of focus I really enjoy to help clients tailor their messages. Whether it’s a quarter page ad or a multi-page advertorial, the challenge is the same; how to get people to remember what is being said. The following examples are just a few designs I've successfully created for some of my clients.

I enjoy designing any type of marketing collateral, including postcards, banners, signage, email blasts, booklets, video, animations, etc. Here are a few samples I've created.

Procreate on iPad is an absolutely incredible creative tool. Every time I create a new project, I feel myself growing artistically and become more comfortable expressing in this medium. I’ve illustrated a few projects with Procreate for social media marketing, and here are a few examples.
